COACH KING

​Coach King is a fencing national medalist who has been a competitive fencer for over 25 years; he has been a fencing coach for 21. Coach King competes regularly in local and national competition, in addition to serving as the head coach of the NCFC. 

Coach King is one of the founding members and served as Head Coach of the National Fencing Foundation of Washington DC, a non profit organization designed to promote and introduce the sport of fencing to youth of the Washington metropolitan area. 

Coach King is dedicated to providing a safe and fun learning environment for youth and adults who are interested in the challenging sport of fencing. He is in full compliance with the US Fencing Association Safe Sport Policy.

"Through fencing, I can teach young people social skills and decorum. It's a chance to give back. Growing up and being raised by a single parent, I know from personal experience how important sports can be to a young person's development both mentally and physically. When I was young, it was the interest that my coaches took in me that made a big difference in my life."
