PROGRAMS
The participants in the After School Program are offered instruction 3 days a week (Monday and Wednesday 5 p.m - 7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.). The class covers introduction to fencing, rules of fencing, fencing terminology, footwork, bladework, various fencing drills, bouting and bouting strategy.
There is no cost to Saint Augustine Catholic School students, and all necessary equipment is provided.

OPEN FENCING PROGRAM: AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM (ST. AUGUSTINE CATHOLIC SCHOOL)
Our "Open Fencing Program" is available for students ages 9 and above who attend any school or college throughout the Washington, D. C. metropolitan area. The program is also available to adults.
COST: Our program is significantly less expensive than other clubs in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. All memberships are month-to-month. There is no contract to sign and equipment can be rented for small fee. Contact the club for additional information.
CLASSES: The club meets 3 days a week on Monday and Wednesday, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Private lessons are available to interested persons, as well as specialty classes that can be catered to your group or organization.
UNITED STATES FENCING ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP
In addition to the above fees, the NCFC requires that you register with the US Fencing Association, either as a competitive or non-competitive fencer. The cost is $99 per year for a competitive membership or $29 per year for an access membership. Membership for St. Augustine students will be paid by the club.

*Inability to pay for lessons should not prevent you from expressing interest or becoming a member of our club. As a result of private funding, we are able to accommodate some students at a lower cost. The NCFC operates under principle idea that if a child wants to learn the sport of fencing but can't afford the cost of lessons, he/she will not be turned away.
